You’ve got to love Eugene Peterson’s paraphrase of James 2:17, he writes, “Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense?” God says faith that only hears, and only talks, but never acts, is no faith at all. In fact, He says faith like that is “dead and useless.” Born-again faith always spills out into the life!
